We’ll wander through the woods, get off the beaten track and enjoy views of Croatia’s breathtaking coastline. On the island of Mljet, we’ll experience highlights like a Benedictine monastery, the ruins of an ancient castle and hike through the magnificent National Park. In Dubrovnik, we’ll enjoy leisure time to stroll through the historic Old Town and walk along the city’s ancient walls for spectacular views of the surrounding water. With so many things to see and experience, this holiday is sure to be one to remember.

Day 1: Make your way independently to your hotel. Dubrovnik is famed for its distinctive Old Town, encircled with massive stone walls dating back to the 16th century. Enjoy an evening meal at our hotel, explore the beautiful surroundings and prepare for the wonderful walking programme ahead.
Day 2: There will be an orientation meeting with your local guide to assess the group’s fitness levels before your first excursion. Enjoy a guided walking tour beginning at Cilipi Village, walking to Mocici and onwards to the seaside town of Cavtat through the scenic landscape of Konavale covering a distance of approximately 8km over mostly flat terrain and forest trails. Day 3: Say goodbye to Dubrovnik for now and cross by ferry to the beautiful island of Mljet. Mljet is an Adriatic island paradise rich in dense forest and lush fields and it will be your base for the next 3 nights.
En route to your hotel enjoy a half day guided walking tour to the Great Lake in Mljet, including a boat trip to the small island of St. Mary’s. St Mary’s is known for its magnificent Benedictine monastery, monks and learned men used to live in this remarkable 12th century old Romanesque style building. Today’s walk will cover approximately 6km on mostly flat terrain, walking on forest trails, asphalted tracks and gravel paths.

Day 4: This morning you will embark on a guided walking tour around the Mljet National Park, beginning at its highest peak, Montokuc, making your way towards the ancient port of Polace. a distance of approximately 16km will be covered, starting at an altitude of 253m before you begin your descent down through forest paths. A packed lunch will be included.

Day 5: Today’s excursion will be a full day guided walking tour of the beautiful salt water Small and Great Lakes. Packed lunch included. Explore the stunning surroundings by asphalt paths and forest trails, covering cover a distance of approximately 14km which will be on mostly flat terrain A packed lunch will be included.

Day 6: Depart your hotel in Mljet and embark on a full day guided walking excursion through the vineyards of the Peljesac Peninsula. The walk will be approximately 4.5km on flat gravel path before arriving at a local winery. Afterwards, board a ferry to the Island of Korcula where you will have some free time to explore your surroundings at your leisure.

Leave Korcula and continue by coach to Dubrovnik. Upon arrival in Dubrovnik you will have the rest of the afternoon and evening at leisure to spend as you wish.
Day 7: Today you will have a full day at leisure in Dubrovnik. You may relax at your hotel or we suggest you take a trip to Lokrum Island, which is a densely wooded nature reserve with an interesting botanical garden and the remains of a Habsburg fortress. This can be booked locally and is a ten-minute ferry ride from Dubrovnik Old Town.
