The Saccharum Resort & Spa boasts 243 deluxe rooms including suites and apartments, offering guests the maximum in luxury, quality and comfort. All of the rooms are finished with spacious and private balconies that provide mesmeric views of the Atlantic Ocean and rising mountains of Madeira. Dining

With three main restaurants all offering the highest quality and variety in regional and international cuisine, there is a range of dishes to suit all tastes. For local dishes, the à la carte Alambique restaurant provides succulent food in an exclusive atmosphere that promises a memorable meal. Boasting a great mix of flavours from the Mediterranean, Italy, Latin, and traditional Madeiran foods, Resteraunte Engenho offers a daily buffet of delicious delicacies. A selection of light snacks can be enjoyed next to the main swimming pool at the Barbecue Trapiche.

Key Facilities

Catering meticulously for both adults and children, there are three swimming pools, including one indoor and one infinity pool, as well as a gymnasium, a squash court, a fitness club, a kids club, and a play area. Of the resort’s four bars, the Grog Bar hosts live entertainment in the evenings.

All guests staying in the Superior Suite Sea View, Suite Sea View, One-Bedroom Suite or Apartment Sea View from May 2018 onwards will receive free use of the brand-new Savoy Premium Service.
