Day 1
From a morning pickup in your local area we travel by coach to London for time at leisure. From shopping along Oxford Street to discovering the city’s iconic sights, there’s plenty to do. There’s also time to find somewhere for dinner (not included) before we head to our hotel.
Day 2
Today we head to Windsor, located on the River Thames. This ancient town has a rich heritage dating back over 1,000 years with many beautiful buildings and cobbled streets, and is known for its connection to the royal family. From here we depart on our special afternoon tea cruise. Take the chance to raise a toast to The Queen as we pass her favourite royal residence, Windsor Castle. Sailing downstream, we also take in views of Eton College and Windsor Racecourse and pass through Boveney Lock, Sutherland Grange and Bray Film Studios. Later we head back to the hotel for our second night’s stay.
Day 3
After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and make our way to the centre of the capital for a guided open top bus tour of London. Departing from the London Eye and hosted by a live guide, we see all of the famous sights, from the Tower of London to Westminster Abbey and Piccadilly Circus, complete with fascinating information about the iconic landmarks! Afterwards, there’s time to enjoy the Platinum Jubilee Pageant, taking place against the backdrop of Buckingham Palace and the surrounding streets. Combining music and theatre, the pageant is one of many official celebrations to mark Her Majesty’s 70-year reign. Later, we rejoin the coach mid-afternoon for our journey home.
We’ll stay at a well-appointed 3 or 4-star hotel outside London.
The comfortable rooms are en suite and other facilities include a bar and restaurant. Hotel accessibility information
