Classic Norwegian Fjords
Make the most of spring by sailing around Norway’s fjordland and witnessing the country’s natural wonders in full bloom. Take to the region’s waterways, passing by spectacular landscapes, awash with colour. During your time, you’ll venture on excursions into Maurangerfjord, getting the chance to see the Fureberg Waterfall up close and Nordfjord, home to North Europe’s tallest sea cliffs. The UNESCO-listed fjord of Naeroyfjord is also on the list, as are Hardangerfjord and Sognefjord.
Leave the ship behind for some onshore exploration, which includes riding the Loen Skylift for incredible views of Nordfjord or traversing the Briksdal Glacier. You’ll also head to Eidfjord to visit Norway’s most famous waterfall, Vøringsfossen, along with having the opportunity to kayak across Hardangerfjord’s waters. Potentially ride the famous Flambana Railway in Flam or the Floyen Railway in Bergen. A unique experience involves hiking with a local through Bergen or you can simple meander around Bryggen Wharf.
