Day 1
Depart from Hull Depart: 2045hrs
Board Marco Polo in Hull, today, settle in to your cabin and relax as your cruise begins.
Day 2
At sea Spend today relaxing on board.
Day 3
Eidfjord, Norway Arrive: 0930hrs
Depart: 1430hrs
Hardangerfjord stretches over 100 kilometres into the Norwegian interior, and this morning Marco Polo heads into its stunning landscape of sheer, forested mountainsides and still waters. Our port here is tiny Eidfjord, an oasis of tranquillity from which you might have the chance to take an optional excursion to the towering Voringfossen waterfalls.
Day 4
Flam, Norway Arrive: 0800hrs
Depart: 1700hrs
Today Marco Polo calls at Flam in the most remote corner of the largest of all Norway's fjords - Sognefjord. From here, you'll have the chance to board the world famous Flamsbana Mountain Railway to experience the sheer beauty of region as you journey to Myrdal by train.
Day 5
Geiranger, Norway Arrive: 1100hrs
Depart: 1900hrs
Today Geirangerfjord’s twists and turns, marked by crashing waterfalls, guide us to Geiranger - an ancient and beguiling village in a truly breathtaking setting. Step ashore to visit the fascinating Norsk Fjordsenter, which chronicles life in this beautiful place, or to join an unforgettable excursion into the scenery that surrounds this glorious fjord.
Day 6
Olden, Norway Arrive: 0800hrs
Depart: 1700hrs
Marco Polo calls at Olden on Nordfjord, today. This idyllic little village is the dropping-off point for a shore excursion, through the almost unimaginably beautiful countryside of Norway's Sogn og Fjordane county, to the famous Briksdal Glacier. This immense cliff of ice is actually just one of the 50 arms of the Jostedalsbreen Glacier, which broods over the entire eastern reach of the Nordfjord.
Day 7
Bergen, Norway Arrive: 0900hrs
Depart: 1700hrs
Bergen is one of the most beautifully located cities in the world. This ancient fishing and trading port, spectacularly set amid hills and fjords, is also one of Northern Europe’s most enjoyable destinations. Step ashore to explore the harbour and fish market, discover Bryggen’s historic wooden warehouses or ride the funicular to the top of ‘Mount’ Floyen.
Day 8
At sea Spend today relaxing on board.
Day 9
Arrive back at Hull Arrive: 0530hrs
Say goodbye to Marco Polo, her crew and your fellow passengers as she arrives in Hull, today, and you disembark at the end of a wonderful cruise.
