Scenic Isles of Scotland
As you experience unforgettable scenic cruising and exploration ashore amongst rugged Scottish isles and lochs, you’ll discover some of the UK’s most beautiful off-the-beaten-track sights. From on board Bolette, marvel at the natural wonder of the imposing Needle, Old Man of Hoy and Duncansby sea stacks; look-out for native seabirds on the cliffs of Marwick Head – you may spot fulmars, guillemots and gannets perched here; and revel in the wild scenery of Loch Broom and Loch Torridon.
When you get to head ashore, seabird havens await discovery in the Orkneys, Shetlands and the Isle of Skye, with their craggy interiors and coastlines. RSPB Sumburgh Head in the Shetlands, where fulmars, puffins and various other bird species live and breed, is a particular highlight. Capture the coastal scenes of Northmavine, the Shetlands’ northernmost point, too; and take in the Orkney’s historic highlights, such as Neolithic Skara Brae and ceremonial stone circles of Stenness and the Ring of Brodgar. Meanwhile, on the Isle of Lewis, Stornoway is your gateway to sites such as Lews Castle.
