Scenic Isles of Scotland in Five Nights
On a cruise planned to coincide with the May Day Bank Holiday, Bolette will take you on a discovery of remote Scottish islands for a restful, relaxing and rewarding short break. Your journey amongst enchanting waterways and rugged lands includes hours of memorable scenic cruising, time to relax on board your smaller ship and revel in Scottish scenery. See the 13th century Duart Castle, against the backdrop of the Sound of Mull’s rolling landscapes; take in the wild scenes of Loch Hourn, the Small Isles and Holy Isle of Iona; marvel at the intriguing Dutchman’s Cap and bonnet-shaped Bac Mòr; and hear the echo of Atlantic Ocean waves crashing against Fingal’s Cave’s remarkable basalt columns.
In between these unforgettable scenic cruising experiences, you visit two charming, remote destinations on consecutive days too, for opportunities to step ashore and uncover many more of Scotland’s greatest and most famous historic sites and scenic delights. Both at Orkney and on the Isle of Lewis, a number of ancient highlights await; a stop at Kirkwall will allow you time to take in some of Orkney’s Neolithic treasures, such as the UNESCO-listed village of Skara Brae and the Ring of Brodgar, while Stornoway is your gateway to fascinating sites including the Calanais & Callanish stone circles on Lewis.
