The Leaf, Munnar (night 4)
There are lovely views from this new hotel in the former colonial, tea-producing hill station of Munnar. The hotel has an infinity pool, a bar and a restaurant. The guest rooms are airy, spacious and well-appointed.
Elephant Court, Periyar (nights 5-6)
This quiet resort-hotel is set in spacious, landscaped grounds, and has an outdoor swimming pool, spa and gym . All the rooms, each of which has a seating area with a sofa, overlook the gardens. There is also a restaurant and a coffee shop.
Keralan Houseboat (night 7)
Stay in a traditional thatched houseboat with two or three cabins, all with private facilities. Three crew members (including one chef) will take care of you throughout your stay on board. Cruising will take place during daylight hours and the vessel will be moored at night.
Abad Turtle Beach Resort, Mararikulam (night 8-10)
A beautiful beachfront resort overlooking a private, white sandy beach, very close to the coastal village of Mararikulam. On 13 acres of land, spacious, air-conditioned rooms have private patio are in cottages throughout the grounds. There is a restaurant and pool with sundeck. Ayurvedic massage is available (at extra cost).
