Rotterdam
Arrive: Early AM
Depart: Late Night
RotterdamWelcome to Rotterdam. The city has a storied maritime past, dating all the way back to the 14th century, when the Rotterdamse Schie canal opened and the city became a focal point for trading between England and Germany. You won’t be surprised to find that most of Rotterdam's attractions revolve around the water. Marvel at the curious, innovative design of the Cubic Houses, the Blaakse Bos development which fringes on the Laurenskwartier district and the Waterfront area. You can also check out the city’s sea port, which happens to be Europe's largest. Today, the waterfront is filled with fascinating attractions, including maritime museums, boat tours, harbourfront bars, cafes and restaurants, and incredible modern architecture, too.
