Day 1
Fly into Bodrum and transfer by coach to the quayside. Meet the welcoming crew of your vessel and your fellow passengers as you embark, and enjoy a first on-board dinner of traditional Turkish mezes, followed by a fish or meat dish and dessert. Afterwards you'll be free to step ashore to take in some of Bodrum’s famously lively nightlife, as your gulet stays moored in the port.
Day 2
Awaken in your cabin – a cosy, simply furnished space – and make your way out on deck for your first delicious breakfast on board – a mix of Turkish and traditional continental fare with special dishes prepared each morning by the chef. An informal but important pre-sailing briefing will be given by the captain and on-board guide, after which, formalities completed, your vessel will make her way out of the harbour into the blue Gokova Gulf, away from Bodrum’s whitewashed buildings, and head gently towards your first anchorage, in idyllic Alakisla Inlet.
Today, as every day, there will be time to enjoy the warm sunshine and an opportunity for a swim or snorkel, and a light lunch will be served with the ship at anchor. After a chance to step ashore and wander through the ruins of a Byzantine village, and to enjoy afternoon tea and cake aboard, your ship will make her way beneath the early evening sun to the picturesque fishing village of Cokertme. Here, dinner will be served, and you'll be able to head ashore, or simply enjoy a convivial hour or two under the stars on board your gulet, enjoying the simple pleasures of life aboard the boat.
